Altimo Scholarship Project

Altimo Foundation Scholarship

As part of the Altimo Foundation Scholarship Program, aimed at providing students from developing countries with an opportunity to increase their education and employability through sponsored study, the Altimo Foundation has successfully arranged scholarships with INSEAD, one of the world’s top business schools (with campuses in France and Singapore) and a leading Russian technology university in Moscow. The first Altimo scholars will start their courses in September 2008.

At INSEAD, the Altimo scholars will come from South East Asia (excluding China, India and Japan) or from developing countries including Africa, Central and Eastern Europe and Latin America. Preference will be given to candidates from Vietnam. Experience in telecommunications, though not essential, will be considered a plus. Applications for the INSEAD scholarship or any related queries should be made directly through INSEAD’s website, using the following links:

The Altimo Foundation will also send ten Vietnamese students to MTUSI, the leading technology university, in Moscow, to study economics/engineering. This should provide successful candidates with the necessary skills to progress into a variety of careers including telecoms. The application process should have been made through Apco and has now closed.
